Cellix's biochips resemble microcapillaries of the body and our precision microfluidic pumps deliver cell samples, whole blood or culture media into these microcapillaries at constant or variable flow rates (shear rates) which mimic human or animal models. Applications include leukocyte rolling, adhesion and transmigration on endothelial cells cultured in the biochip channels. Long term cell culture in biochip microcapillaries is possible with Cellix's unique Kima pump.
