✅ Currently, the 4U Pump is optimised to be used individually but we would be happy to customise the pump as per your needs and requirements.
❓Can you use the 4U Pump with your existing flow chambers and tubing kits?
✅ Yes, 4U Pumps are compatible with different flow chambers and tubing. However, if you require tubing and flow chambers, we would be happy to provide them. Check them out on our eShop.
❓Can the 4U Pump be used in vacuum mode?
✅ Yes, 4U Pumps can be used in vacuum (or "pull") mode.
❓Can you have independent flow control in the 4U Pump?
✅ Yes, the flow control in the 4U Pump is completely customisable. Below is a video on how to customise flow control:
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR 4U PUMP
❓How do you pull out the air hose
✅ Please, do not force it. It can damage the pump. You must press on the edge of the fluidic adaptor it is connected to, and then pull it out slowly.
❓Pressure is building slowly, and flow rate does not reach preset level
✅ Please, check if all the fluidic connections are tightened properly so they are not leaking air. Ensure you also check connections to the sample reservoirs and flow sensors.
❓Pressure is not building
✅ Make sure that the external air compressor is connected and switched on.
❓Pump is not powering up
✅ Please, press the power button and hold it for 2-3 seconds until it turns green. If you press the button but do not hold it pressed, the pump will not power up. This is the same for powering down the pump.
❓Pressure line hose does not fit
✅ Make sure that the pressure line hose is 6mm in diameter. If your external pressure compressor has a bigger or smaller pressure line hose, you will need a pneumatic adapter to 6mm. These are widely available.
