Dmitry has a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Electronics from Novosibirsk State University and a M.Sc. in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, where his work resulted in the spin-out of Cellix.  He has a wide range of expertise in the areas of microfluidics, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), fluid dynamics, laboratory automation tools and plastic manufacturing techniques. With a primary degree in computer science, he also has excellent technical knowledge of digital signal processing, embedded real-time data acquisition systems, hardware interfacing, software programming and development, image acquisition and processing. 

 

Dmitry is now leading a team of engineers and scientists in new product development; supervising Cellix’s R&D team through the completion of multiple European Commission projects (FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020) and numerous national grants from Science Foundation Ireland; Enterprise Ireland and the Irish Research Council.
